Thrillcall is proud to announce a new partnership with USS for their winter tour! Find the dates below.

Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (or USS for short) are a Canadian pop rock group, melding many genres into their bombastic sound. It is easy to pick up on the loud guitars and deep synths, but the delicate melodies embedded in the songs set USS apart. This daring combination of sounds may confound you- at least, it did for renowned music journalist Alan Cross: “I was confused about how a band could emerge so fully-formed out of nowhere,” he writes. Let your confusion turn to curiosity, and enter to win tickets to their upcoming shows!

USS is composed of vocalist, guitarist, and erhu player Ashley Buchholz (aka Ash Boo-Schultz) and turntablist/hype man Jason “Human Kebab” Parsons. The band hails from the outskirts of the Greater Toronto Area, Ash being from the city of Markham and Kebab from the adjacent town of Stouffville. They met in 2004, while stocking the beer fridge and discussing music when they worked at a golf course; the pair hit it off instantaneously. A couple of months later, Ash’s sister was looking for someone to DJ at her upcoming wedding and Human Kebab was suggested for the job.
