Far East Movement came out full of energy and the crowd followed suit. With hard bass thumps and auto-tuned microphones, they hyped the crowd up with their high fashion sense and popular tracks “Like a G6” and “Rocketeer” with help of opening act Matthew Koma. FEM also performed a few new tracks from their new album Dirty Bass. Mid set, a tribute was performed for the late Beastie Boys’ MC, which ended with the Charlotte crowd chanting “R.I.P M.C.A”
The mood was set: Charlotte was ready to party. LMFAO gave them more than they could have expected. RedFoo, SkyBlu and their group of extreme choreographers came on stage and party rocked the queen cities faces off! There was not a dry moment during the set: drinking from red plastic party cups, guzzling beer from funnels, and doing shots during, between, and after songs. And if that wasn’t enough, the hard hitting bass took effect while they gave the crowd champagne showers, and put the women in the room in awe. Capping off the night, they pulled out the infamous Speedos and did the “wiggle, wiggle, wiggle” from their video that helped put them on the map.
The only thing you need to do is get out there and experience their live performance. It’s like no other. I have even stated on my personal Facebook page “Out of all the shows I have shot/seen, this show was the most fun that I have had the opportunity to photograph and best show I have seen live yet!”
