In February, Kweller released his fifth studio LP, Go Fly A Kite, full of rich harmonies, ripe arrangements and bittersweet lyrics. Sixteen years after inking a major deal at the age of fifteen, Kweller’s latest album was described by eMusic as ” finest and most focused effort to date.” Bottling the angst of alternative rock grunge and a matured singer/songwriter worn from his experience, Go Fly A Kite hits hard with nostalgia reminiscent of his first single “Wasted and Ready.” It’s heartbreak lyric, unforgettable melodies and warmed fuzzed-out sound surely will take any 90s rock listener back.

For our LA folk, you can catch him tonight at the El Rey Theatre. For all those outside of LA, below is Kweller’s upcoming tour dates.
