At 2pm local time on January 28th, 2012, Andrew Bird will perform on a boat, in mid-air, on the Internet. Confused yet? We were too, but a little digging revealed the details:
That boat up there is A Room for London, a versatile performance / rentable living space overlooking the River Thames. This Saturday, Andrew Bird will climb aboard for a special performance of who-knows-what-exactly (details are hushed). We do know that our American audience will be able to stream the performance on the official website (just be sure to pour yourself a bowl of Frosty-os before the the 9am EST / 6am PST start time).
Heiner Goebbels and Laurie Anderson will occupy the same space in February and March, respectively.
