If America is the world’s melting pot, Bamboozle serves just about the same purpose in America’s festival scene. Kreayshawn next to Blink-182, Bon Jovi side-by-side with Skrillex — what is this tomfoolery?! They even got DJ Pauly D to hold down the Jersey Shore (aka The House That D Built), where the festival goes down from May 18-20.
More headliner announcements rolled out today – Kreayshawn, All-American Rejects, Mac Miller and A$AP Rocky are among the highlights joining previously announced headliners Incubus, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi and Blink-182, which were leaked in a harmless but rather funny Ticketmaster gaffe about a month back.
And you know what? We’re all for Bamboozle’s hodgepodge approach to the festival. It looks like chaos on the lineup, but it’s deceptively simple: if you have fans who are gonna want to see you play, they you’re invited to our party. Bamboozle welcomes a diverse, passionate crowd and embraces cross-genre discovery (a side-effect of most festivals, even if you’re trying to avoid it – but Bamboozle takes it to its beautiful extreme). With over 60 bands announced on the lineup, and more TBA, you’ll come with list of the artists you must see, and leave with a list of the ones you must remember. There’s a reason Bamboozle is one of the most anticipated festivals of the year.
Tickets are $65 for Friday passes, $75 apiece for the weekend dates or $190 for a 3-day pass. Are you going? Tell us who you’re most excited to see, and we’ll hop the discovery train early.
