Dell has tapped The Rapture for their Special Engagements series, a London concert which will be live-streamed on Noisey.com and influenced by fan participation in Facebook-exclusive contests and polls. Fans have the opportunity to vote on The Rapture’s encore songs, design merchandise and even play with the band when they take the stage on December 12th in London:
Engagement 1: Live on 11/22 Choose The Rapture’s encore.
Fans vote from four songs they want to hear for the encore. The top two songs will be selected for the Rapture to perform.
Engagement 2: Live on 11/23 Perform with the band.
The Rapture asks fans to submit audition videos of them playing to the track “House of Jealous Lovers.” Other fans ‘like’ these videos, and The Rapture will choose one winner, from the top five videos with the most ‘likes’, to perform at the event.
Engagement 3: Live on 11/28 Design limited edition merchandise.
The Rapture invites fans to create a new piece of merchandise specific to their next single “Sail Away.” The band will provide three colours for the shirt, and three ways to manipulate the single cover for Sail Away.” The winning colour and image will be selected and made into a new T-shirt, which a few lucky winners will receive.
