A potential Backstreet Boys reunion could be coming – Is Backstreet back (all right!)?
Kevin Richardson, the missing piece of the Backstreet Boys crew responsible for the success of “I Want It That Way” and other early mega-hits, will be rejoining the band for a performance in the Bahamas as part of a four-day BSB cruise experience. (Hell – we’d unretire for a free tropical getaway cruise too, if we had the chance.) It goes without saying that only the wealthiest of diehard fans will get to witness the show – but there’s reason for continental fans to keep hope alive, Billboard reports:
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Richardson also hinted that he would be up to a more extensive reunion with his former group. “I would never say that it would never happen,” says Richardson. “I would love to perform with them again on a more regular basis. Our chemistry when we come together just feels like old times.”
So there you have it – Richardson wants to reunite the original five. Instead of trying to put our excitement into words, we think we’ll Say It In Song:
