The city that never sleeps has given us even more reasons to stay out all night.  Thrillcall has just reached new partnerships with two NYC music scene staples: Stage 48 and Good Room. Beginning in December, Thrillcall will begin running giveaways for a number of shows between the two clubs such as ASAP Ferg and Justin Jay. But as these two newer venues are beginning to hit their stride, others are saying their finals goodbyes to the New York music scene. Over the weekend we sadly saw one of our favorite Brooklyn venues, Cameo Gallery, hosting their final shows before closing their doors for good. Since 2009, Cameo had been one of Williamsburg’s premier spots to see up-and-coming acts. We’re heartbroken to see it go but at least it went out with a bang.

On the other hand, Stage 48 is alive and well. The former horse stable turned Nightclub and Concert Venue has been establishing itself as a night life hot spot since its opening in 2012. Combining classic New York industrial architecture with modern elements, the aesthetics of the club are only matched by its impeccable concerts which has included Lil Wayne, Perfume Genius, and Funkmaster Flex.

As for the new kids on the block, Good Room has already taken a strong hold in the Brooklyn electronic music scene. The Greenpoint venue that was formerly Europa offers access to huge club names like Hot Chip, Le Youth and Kenny Dope in a chic yet unassuming setting. At the moment the venue is only hosting parties in the later half of the week but keep and eye on their calendar in the new year as we’re sure they’ll be ramping up to feature more shows throughout the week.

Be sure to keep an eye out for these two New York venues and all of the other great events in the Thrillcall App!
