Thrillcall is hooking you up with a month of free shows for two legendary venues, Great American Music Hall and Slim’s!
The offer ends at midnight tonight, so don’t miss out!
Great American Music Hall was built in 1907 during the reconstruction of downtown following the big San Francisco earthquake of 1906. It was called Blanco’s, during that time a notorious brothel. In 1936 it was bought by Sally Rand and became a burlesque hall dubbed the Music Box. After a post World War II fire, the venue almost ceased to exist. 1972 brought new changes to the venue, with several renovations and restorations, the venue was now finally called Great American Music Hall. Since then the venue has grown and become the San Francisco staple that it is today.
Slim’s is one of the few all-ages venues left in the bay area and probably the best, especially since they have a bar for concert-goers who are of age. Opened in 1988 by Boz Scaggs, Slim’s has been a legendary San Francisco venue since it’s inception.
