Debora Iyall is well known for her role as the lead singer for Romeo Void, the local San Francisco band. In 1984, after gaining fame on the college radio circuit; Romeo Void landed the Billboard top 40 with their hit song, “A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)”, which also led them to Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. While Romeo Void split in 1985, Debora remained true to her creative roots and taught art school in southern California through the 90’s. In 2009, she started creating new material with the help of Peter Dunne and in 2010 released her solo album Stay Strong and the EP Singing Until Sunrise in 2012.

Aside from the amazing modernized post-punk stylings of Debora Iyall, the bill tonight will include Metal Circus (a tribute to Hüsker Dü), Meri St Mary and Housecoat Project, and DJ Big Nate. It’s also a benefit for the Punk Rock Museum in Los Angeles and there will be a mix of new works and pieces from the permanent museum collection. This will be an event filled with art and music to benefit the museum and help commemorate a very important period in modern art and culture. Featured artists include Tim O’Hanlon, Jeffrey Lamm, Winston Smith, Andy Garza, Ricky Cole, Gary Indiana, Lily Chow, Snake Lady Rose, Kris X, Vincent Anton, The Units, James  Stark, Johnny Bonnell, and more…
