I Love This City so much, I wouldn’t want to disappoint it. That’s likely what the festival organizers thought when they decided to change I Love This City’s location from AT&T Park to the Shoreline Amphitheater. Consider this: why tone down when you can bulk up? We’d sure add the weight of Tiësto, Duck Sauce, David Guetta and James Murphy any day. Instead of letting production challenges stand in the way of this city’s fun, Live Nation will take the city with them elsewhere.

Now before you get all in a huff ‘n puff (because we all know changes aren’t for everyone), let’s break it down. You bought a ticket under the impression you’d just hop, skip over to AT&T Park. Sounds bad, except wait–there are free shuttles running both days. Those who’ve already purchased tickets get an added perk: you’ll get a wristband upon arrival that gives you priority access to reserved seating areas and special side stage viewing access. Transportation aside, now you’ve got a longer commute home. True, but wouldn’t you rather dance later than come home earlier? One of the festival’s biggest challenges was San Francisco’s early curfew! Fortunately, now the party can rage on until almost midnight.

So trust us, don’t get discouraged. Anyone who misses out because of this, well…
