Earlier this month, Eddie Vedder postponed his tour to the fall due to nerve damage he suffered in his right (and strumming) arm from a back injury he incurred. His manager reported that “Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form.”

Well today, fan’s can enjoy some good news, he released a new single. The song is called “Skipping” and will be included on Christy Turlington Banks’ compilation album for her maternal charity Every Mother Counts. The compilation will also include unreleased music from Bono and The Edge, David Bowie, Coldplay, Beck, Rufus Wainwright, and many more.
