You’re missing out. And maybe Lisa Loeb is too.
You’ll know Loeb for her popular radio rotation “Stay (I Missed You)” which was a number one hit in 1994. The hit made Loeb’s name and perhaps her career and perhaps robbed her star of a more illustrious perennial folk hero nod a la Joni Mitchell. Loeb is a seasoned performer and Yoshi’s makes a good venue for her repertoire. She does and will play to the crowd, opening with talk to get a read on her audience afterward pivoting through song couplings that prey off her interaction with her fans.

If you’re looking for a more intimate setting coupled with a singer-songwriter who can take you through an evening like you just happened upon the joint on a nightly stroll in Montreal or something, Lisa’s your lady and tonight’s your show.
