Electric Guest will tour the United States in 2012

Coming out of a strong SXSW showing, Electric Guest is poised to break out this Spring with a headlining US tour and a debut album in their pocket, produced by none other than Danger Mouse. That collaboration bodes well genre-amorphous producer always seems to put his name on quality products – clearly he, as well as the SXSW crowd and the wider heatseeking world, have singled out the Electric Guest in their young careers as an act that boasts open-ended promise.

Debut LP Mondo comes out April 24th, but you can visit their official website to “unlock” two streaming songs once you complete a drag-and-drop puzzle (which is either a Fun Marketing Thing or a trivial impediment to actually listening to the music – take your pick).
