U.K. electronic artist Ed Sheeran has announced his first North American tour alongside Snow Patrol. The tour will support the release of his debut album, +, that arrives on June 12th. While still relatively unknown in the US, Sheeran has taken over U.K. pop charts and Youtube with his two hits “Lego House” and “A Team” combining for over 50 millions views. Drawing inspiration from the likes of James Morrison and Damien Rice, the eclectic singer/songwriter also cites Jay Z and recently created an EP with southern rapper, Yelawolf. (Listen to the duo’s track “You Don’t Know” below).
