Boys Noize packed the Mezzanine last Thursday night (3/8/12), playing to an eclectic and energized crowd. The event was hosted by the masterminds behind the acclaimed online open-source game, Minecraft, and the established event production and dance culture blog, Danceism. However different, the diverse parties danced the night away as one.

Alexander Ridha was in great form that evening – engaging the crowd with ease as soon as he stepped on stage, sending them into a frenzy with his every move. His stage presence is uplifting; raw and energetic, with a knack for pristine sweeps and heavy drops, that penetrate deep into the energy of the crowd. Playing nearly a two-hour set, he literally closed down the venue around 2am – Most of the crowd still remained, exiting the venue with a smile on their face, and a head full of great production.

Be sure to check out his newest release, “The Remixes,” which dropped in December of last year on Boysnoize Records. Also, If you’re lucky enough to be a 2012 SXSW attendee, you can check out the BNR showcase on March 15th at Beauty Bar in Austin, TX on March 21st.

From there, Boys Noize hops to Miami to play March 22nd at Hard Miami, March 23rd at The Standard Spa in Miami Beach with his Ed Banger buddies, and the BOYSNOIZE MIAMI NOIZE 2012 party on March 24th at Mamushka’s–playing alongside Boysnoize crew such as Spank Rock, Housemeister, Djedjotronic and Strip Steve.
