Porter Robinson will play the Fox Theater for Noise Pop 2012.

Tonight, 19-year-old wunderkind DJ Porter Robinson plays the Fox Theater. Signed by Skrillex to his OWSLA label, the young DJ has broken into the scene similarly to his boss–quickly. Having played alongside Tiesto and billed for Coachella and Ultra Music Festival–it’s safe to say you’ll be hearing a lot from him. Need a sonic comparison? Take Daft Punk’s EDM crescendos and dub smash them with a pop grace that would make Skrillex smile and that’s Robinson’s foundation.

Did we mention that The M Machine, who recently toured with Paper Diamond (Pretty Light’s prodigy), will be opening. Seriously folks–if you like EDM–don’t miss this. We’ve got the photos to prove it.

Luckily we’ve got tickets to the show on our app, which you can download here. And nothing says EDM party, then whiling out with your friends–so share via social media and have them use your referral code so you can all get first dibs. There aren’t many tickets available, and why would there be? It’s a Friday dance party.
