Cut Copy is in the middle of a well-deserved media blitz, ahead of their appearance at the 2012 Grammys, where their album Zonoscope is nominated for a Best Electronic / Dance Album award. They recently popped in for a two-song video session with Laundromatinee:
Set up at The Pop Machine, Cut Copy perform two tracks off their 2011 release Zonoscope, the aforementioned Grammy-nominated album. “Blink and You’ll Miss a Revolution” may hit slightly harder than the slow-building “Need You Now,” but both offer strong, never-ceasing dance beats and do well to capture the same sound and energy found on the album. I have to assume that our film and audio crew duct-taped themselves to their chairs to keep from dancing throughout the session.
Watch the video for “Blink and You’ll Miss a Revolution” below, and stop by their session page for the full write-up and a second performance of “Need You Now.”
