The Darkness will tour the United States in 2012.

The Darkness had been on extended hiatus from 2005 until early last year, when they announced a back-to-roots oriented reunion tour. They’ll continue the comeback in 2012 with a new album, tentatively scheduled for a March 17th release date (to coincide with singer Justin Hawkins’ birthday). To support the yet-to-be-named album, they’ve announced a run of North America tour dates in 2012:
