Girl in a Coma tour the United States in 2012.
Girl in a Coma will tour through the United States this January, picking up a solo show in Memphis before playing seven dates in the South with The Features.

Pegasus relates GIAC destroying expectations at their set at Prophet Bar in Dallas last year (we’ll miss you, 2011!):

At first glance, their black clothes and piercings give way to stereotypical assumptions, but the second Nina Diaz sang, presumptions faded away. Diaz’s rolling voice demands attention, and adds needed femininity to their punk rock sound […] Nina’s sister, Phanie Diaz, set the rapid pace of the group’s songs with her persistent drumming and energy. During “El Monte,” one of the rare, slower tracks, their affectionate side emerged, showing why they’re known nationally. Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight” surprisingly served as a successful cover, with Nina adding snarl to the syrupy words as she beefed up the tempo. This group will continue to challenge the norm and change opinions onstage.
