Andrew Bird

Since announcing performances at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Andrew Bird  has scheduled 2012 tour dates to coincide with the release of his twelfth album, Break It Yourself, due on March 6th. The tour will begin in the South, moving West, before finishing on the East Coast. Fans can expect an additional treat if they attend Bird’s performance, with a bundled music package that will include a redemption code for the new album, as well as Fake Conversations, a live EP compiled from Bird’s fall 2011 tour–and if that wasn’t enough, a souvenir live EP from the 2012 tour this coming spring. A deluxe edition of Break It Yourself will feature a vinyl edition (more details to come).

Bird’s last album Noble Beast was highly applauded, and widely regarded as his most accessible release to date. With Bird’s success soaring, and indie rock’s mainstream appeal, can we expect Break It Yourself  to be his most pop friendly album to date in attempt to build a grow his fan base?
