Madonna is rumored to be touring Europe in 2012.

Something rather interesting slipped out of the Madonna camp today: an enterprising fan stumbled upon a link titled “Madonna European Tour 2012” on Madonna’s official website. The link was quickly hidden from view, but the mere fact that it exists on one of Madge’s official channels would seem to lend some legitimacy to the list.

Madonna’s camp may want to keep these dates private for any number of reasons – it’s very likely that venues, dates, and cities have not been totally solidified, or that this chunk of dates is part of a larger tour they may have wished to announce all at once. (We’d be very surprised if Madonna, with her tireless work ethic, only played 8 shows in Europe.)

But now that they’re out in the open, maybe you should start making tentative plans:

June 11 – Zagabria (Croatia) | Maksimir Stadium
June 14 – Milan (Italy) | San Siro
June 17 –  Zurich (Switzerland) | Letzigrund Staidum
June 20 – Barcelona (Spain) | Palau St. Jordi
June 21 – Barcelona (Spain) | Palau St. Jordi
June 24 – Coimbra (Portugal) | Estadio Cidad de Coimbra
June 28 – Berlin (Germany) | O2 World
June 30 – Hamburg (Germany) | O2 World

You have to wonder if some Madonna insider will develop a loose-lipped reputation soon. Earlier this week, a demo version of the Queen of Pop’s new single “Give Me All Your Love” leaked to the Internet – which prompted a furious tweet from her manager, Guy Oseary (including the words “very upset” and about 8 exclamation points). Sorry, Guy – we’ll duck into hiding now….

More news will be posted as it comes to us.
